Matias is an AAGM Mountain Guide. An accomplished mountaineer and sport climber, he has climbed Mount Fitz Roy, the legendary West Face of Cerro Torre. He’s truly an expert in the area and travels during our winter to climb in Europe and especially in the Picos de Europa (Spain) where he has done remarkable ascents of Picu Urriellu.

Lucia is an AAGM Mountain Guide. Born in northern Patagonia, she has chosen southern Patagonia her home. She has guided extensively on the famous Perito Moreno Glacier, all around Los Glaciares National Park and in the Franz Joseph Glacier in New Zealand. Also a climber and mountaineer, she has been travelling for many years in Argentina, Peru and Europe looking for the nicest climbs and treks.

Manuel is an AAGM Mountain Guide. He has guided for many years in our area. He now lives both in Patagonia and Spain, where he has climbed very hard sport routes. He’s also a mountaineer but his love for sport climbing has taken him to very exotic destinations like Thailand and Kalymnos in Greece.

Juan is an AAGM Mountain Guide and AAGM Rock and Ice Climbing Instructor. He spends his time between his lovely home town, El Bolson, in northern Patagonia and El Chalten, where he has climbed most of the peaks of the Fitz Roy Massif. Since the mid 90’s he has been guiding in Los Glaciares National Park, both on beautiful trails as well as expeditions to the Southern Ice Field.

We are based at El Chaltén, a young mountain village at the foot of legendary Mount Fitz Roy. We organize mountain expeditions, trekking programs and trips with different technical and logistical difficulties in this beautiful land: Southern Patagonia. Many years exploring the most remote and hidden corners of this fascinating geography have helped us to develop a variety of programs in which we combine nature and action. Our Mountain Guides Service combines quality, efficiency and personalized attention. For more than 15 years we have been traveling and exploring the most beautiful spots of southern Patagonia as well as mountain climbing. The experience that we have gathered in this time has taught us to respect the environment and to priorize safety conditions for all our programmes. We seek equilibrium between our love of the mountains’ freedom and our jobs; so, each of us tries to explore and find their own talents and abilities. It’s our way to bring honesty to what we do. In this way we try to be interpreters of this beautiful nature, to create and give, as we develop a variety of adventure programmes, a professional and specialized frame to interact with our customers. We know about time availability and expectations are not the same for all of us so we offer custom trips as well as pre scheduled departures.
